Bank Restoration area:
The river bank has become trampled by people fishing along the bank,
erosion is taking place due to lack of vegetation. Plastic netting
is installed in the water along the bank. Tree branches and twigs
are placed between the netting and bank. Eventually the space is
filled with silt and dirt. Plants then reestablish roots in the
material to prevent further erosion and provide habitat for small
fish
