Alaska Public Broadcasting Commission Grants Unit

Grant Program

Mission

This unit works with grantees to execute new grant agreements and oversee expenditures to ensure that grant funds are used for the appropriated purpose; provides accurate information in a timely manner; maintains databases containing historic grant information; and makes payments to grantees.

The Alaska Public Broadcasting Commission, at its discretion, makes grants of funds and property to nonprofit corporations which use the funds or property to establish and operate public broadcasting stations in the state. The Division of Administrative Services administers those grants in accordance with the APBC statute (AS 44.21.256) and regulations (2 AAC 55).
