Registration | Validation Sticker

An owner of a boat who has lost or destroyed a Certificate of Number and/or Validation Sticker(s) must report this to DMV within 15 days and apply for a duplicate.

REQUIREMENTS

Change to Information:

  1. A completed Boat Registration Application
  2. Fee (B-43)

No Change to Information:

  1. Print a copy of the boat record and have the owner sign and date it
  2. Fee (B-43)

REPLACEMENT FEES

  • Certificate of Number (Registration) ...................................................$5.00
  • Validation Sticker(s) (Includes Certificate of Number) ......................$5.00

VALIDATION STICKERS

CHECK THE CLASS CODE CAREFULLY TO ENSURE THAT
THE CORRECT VALIDATION STICKERS ARE ISSUED

Powered Boats:

Issue a pair of validation stickers (even if only one was lost or destroyed).

Non-powered Boats:

Issue a single validation sticker
