An owner of a registered boat must report a change in his/her mailing address to DMV in writing within 15 days. The notice must contain the boat number or HIN, the name of the owner and the new address. The change of address may be accepted at any DMV office, by mail, or on the DMV web site by sending an email with the identifying information to the webmaster.

Customer's may update their address using our online change of address system. Please be aware that they will only be able to do this if their driver license number was entered on the record when the boat record was created or updated.
