The registration month is not changed unless the registration expired on a dealer’s lot and a Dealer Affidavit - Vehicle Held in Inventory (Form 813) is submitted with the application. (R-175)

TITLE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Application for Title and Registration (Form 812) completed in full and signed in ink.
  2. Affidavit of Repossession (Form 843). This form must be completed in full and notarized.*
  3. Original title OR a notarized Affidavit of Lost, Destroyed or Stolen Title (Form 809) completed and signed by the lienholder.

*An affidavit of repossession from another state is acceptable in lieu of the Alaska form. If the affidavit from the other state does not require a notary, it is acceptable without being notarized.
