Online Renewal Information
BEFORE RENEWING YOUR REGISTRATION:
Permanent Registrations CANNOT be processed online.
If you live in an eligible area and wish to permanently register your vehicle, please visit your local DMV office.
Your address MUST be correct
on the vehicle you are renewing.
If not, you must update the address
BEFORE you renew or you will not receive your tabs.
CHANGE MY ADDRESS
The registration and tab are mailed the next business day and will be mailed to the address of record.
If you have not used the DMV's online renewal system before, please read the following instructions before renewing:

- If you are eligible for a senior or disabled exemption, you will not need to renew the registration for that vehicle. Once you have filed for this exemption, you will receive a Permanent Tab. If you are already receiving this exemption a Permanent Tab will be mailed to you.
Please note that there may be a temporary charge of $1.11 that will appear on your debit/credit card pending transactions screen in addition to any other DMV service fee. This charge will disappear after the transaction is completed.
