Sample License Plates

To purchase a sample State of Alaska Plate an individual must send a check drawn on a U.S. bank or a U.S. Postal Service money order for $3.00 to the address shown below.

Alaska offers standard (Blue & Gold) and Gold Rush SAMPLE plates. The plate has the word SAMPLE stamped on it.  Please specify Standard or Gold Rush on your request, and whether you will accept another style if we are out of your first choice.

Gold Rush - Centennial Plates

Actual SAMPLE plates will have the word "SAMPLE" on them, not "ALASKA".
