FAIRBANKS - STATE DMV OFFICE

(Two blocks south of the Airport Road and Peger Road intersection.)

  DAYS OF OPERATION:   Monday through Friday
  OFFICE HOURS:   8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  ROAD TESTS (Appointment required.)
 
  • Non-commercial passenger vehicle:  Daily.
  • Motorcycle: Thursday mornings.
  • Commercial road tests: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  KNOWLEDGE TESTS:  Must pass the test by 4:30 to be issued a permit or license.
     
  VEHICLE INSPECTIONS:  Available from 9:00 to 11:00 and 2:00 to 4:00
     
  FURTHER INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO THIS OFFICE:
  This office is closed from 8:30 to 9:30 on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

  DAYS OF OPERATION:   Tuesday through Friday Saturday
  OFFICE HOURS:   1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  ROAD TESTS (Appointment required.)
 
  • Non-commercial passenger vehicle: Wednesday mornings.
  • Motorcycle:  Saturday mornings.
  • Commercial road tests are available at the Fairbanks office.
  KNOWLEDGE TESTS:  Must pass the test prior to closing to be issued a permit or license.
     
  VEHICLE INSPECTIONS:  Available Wednesday mornings.  Appointment required.
