Alaska Statewide System for Employee Time

Project Update

On July 23, 2012 the contract with TimeLink International Corporation (TimeLink) to implement the state's automated time and attendance project, known as ASSET, was canceled and the project suspended. We will concentrate our efforts on the Integrated Resource Information System (IRIS) project.

The ASSET system is not currently able to meet our objectives of creating a product that will accommodate the state's extensive time and leave reporting requirements and be easy for the state's employees to learn and use.

At this point, we have not determined a direction for automating the State's time and leave reporting. However, it remains a priority for us to resolve as soon as possible, while balancing other state initiatives.
