Purpose: This half-day Ethics for State of Alaska Executive Branch employees’ course is designed to teach employees knowledge of the ethical expectations and responsibilities applicable for all State of Alaska Executive Branch employees.
Course Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this Ethics for State of Alaska Executive Branch Employees participants will:
- have knowledge of what the Ethics Act requires of all employees.
- how and where to get information about the policies and procedures associated with the Ethics Act.
- understand the role of the Designated Ethics Supervisor (DES).
- use the
A.C.T. Model to think through an issue and determine the most appropriate choice of action to take in a given situation.
