Tuition and Fees
Student Fees (Explanation)
Students of the Division of Personnel & Labor Relations (DOPLR) courses and renters of DOPLR facilities who are Executive Branch employees of organizations covered under the DOPLR Cost Allocation Plan (CAP) are not required to pay fees for training and rentals. If you are not a CAP covered employee, you are required to pay for DOPLR services.
The CAP identifies, accumulates and distributes allowable direct and indirect costs under grants and contracts, and identifies the allocation methods used for distributing costs. Most Executive Branch Departmental employees are covered under the DOPLR CAP, however there are exceptions. Examples of those that are not covered under the CAP are: employees of the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, the Court System, Legislative Affairs, Offices of the Governor and Lt. Governor, University of Alaska and federal employees who supervise Department of Military and Veterans Affairs staff.
Student Fees (Non DOPLR CAP students only, see explanation above):
- 1 full day training class: $200.00 per student, per day
- Half day training (4 hrs. or under): $100.00 per student
By enrolling in or approving enrollment in a DOPLR training class, you acknowledge that you are responsible for fees if you and/or your agency are not covered under the DOPLR CAP.
Training Room and Computer Lab fees
Training & Development training rooms are available for rental. There is no fee for DOPLR CAP users. If your agency is not covered by the DOPLR CAP, you will be required to pay a rental fee for the use of these rooms. All personnel booking a training room will be required to sign a Rental Agreement which includes Terms and Conditions of Use.
