New Employee Relations Program Inquiry Form
Employee Relations (ER) is implementing a new Inquiry Form to improve efficiency and consistency. This form will serve as the standard method of initial contact for submitting all ER-related questions or concerns. This is for anyone that is a State of Alaska employee/supervisor with an ER related matter or concern.

Important Update: Referral of EEO Inquiries and Complaints
Effective immediately, all internal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) cases within the State of Alaska (SOA) that are sent to the Employee Relations Program will be referred directly to the State EEO Program. This change is implemented to ensure the highest standards in managing these sensitive issues.

- Employee Discipline, including facilitating the progressive discipline process and due process meetings

- Field representation with labor representatives
- Labor contract modifications (Letters of Agreement)
- Union complaint and grievance processing and tracking
- Grievance resolutions
- Arbitration or litigation support
- Investigations and conflict resolution
- Employee complaints
- Performance review appeals
- Informal harassment and discrimination complaints
- Ethics violations
- Mandatory drug/alcohol testing for CDL holders
- Requests for accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Consult with employees, supervisors, and the Department ADA Coordinator (Title 1) to facilitate the reasonable accommodation process
- Approve and process Position Control Changes (PCCs) in the Online Position Description (OPD) system
