Employee Preventive Care Information

What AlaskaCare Employee Plan members need to know

Under the preventive care benefit, AlaskaCare Employee Health Plan members have changes in coverage of certain preventive care services, identified in section 3.3d of the Employee Insurance Information booklet [PDF].

These identified preventive care services are not subject to copayment or deductible, and will be covered at 100% of the provider's rate if the provider is an in-network provider. Preventive care services provided by an out-of-network provider are subject to payment under plan provisions governing non-preventive care services.
