Employer Conference
A biennial learning opportunity for our employer partners who help support our mission of guiding Alaskans to lifetimes of well-being.
The next Employer Con is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2024. Stay tuned for more information.
Historically the Division of Retirement and Benefits has hosted a conference in Juneau Alaska every bi-annual year for the Employers of the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) and Teachers Retirement System (TRS). The purpose of the conference is to help educate and provide resources to ensure proper reporting of the plans.
The last conference was scheduled for September 2020. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Division was unable to hold the conference in Juneau, therefore, the Division compiled information for each employer to be mailed. The information provided in the mailer was the employer's specific participation agreement, flyers, and several other educational materials.
The Division has tentatively scheduled the next Employer Conference for 2024.
