AlaskaCare Tele-Town Hall: Long-Term Care
Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10 a.m. AKST
Hosted by the Alaska Department of Administration, Division of Retirement and Benefits for all interested AlaskaCare retirees and their families
The State of Alaska offers a voluntary Long-Term Care (LTC) plan for benefit recipients and their spouses. The Division of Retirement and Benefits (Division) offers three LTC plan options available to eligible benefit recipients who retired after February 1, 2000, and also maintains an additional legacy plan that was available to benefit recipients who retired prior to February 1, 2000.
We’ve heard from you that you have questions about your LTC plan benefits, and we would like to answer them directly. During this month’s tele-town hall, Division staff will give an overview of the various LTC plans and will respond to your questions. You’re invited to join the discussion on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10 a.m. AKST!
We’ll call you when the event starts—toll free. Just answer the phone to participate!
Registration is strongly recommended to ensure you receive a call and can participate in this event. Registration will close at 9 a.m. AKST, one hour before the event starts.
Make sure we have your number! Pre-register now online.
As of January 1, 2019, the AlaskaCare retiree health plans have transitioned to a new Pharmacy Benefit Manager, OptumRx, and have implemented an enhanced Employer Group Waiver Program (EGWP) for all Medicare-eligible AlaskaCare retirees and dependents. If you have questions about the transition, we would be happy to answer them at this month’s town hall.
