The Retirement Customer Service Center (RCSC) serves members of the Public Employees’, Teachers’, Judicial, National Guard and Elected Public Officer Retirement Systems. The Center also serves participants of the Alaska Supplemental Annuity (SBS) and the Alaska Deferred Compensation (DCP) Plans.

These services are provided by Great-West Retirement Services and their wholly-owned subsidiary, Advised Assets Group for members of the defined contribution plans.

Provides individual services to members of the pension and annuity programs administered by the Division of Retirement and Benefits. These services include the following: participation, enrollment, benefit options, saving for the future, disbursement, and monthly pension and annuity benefits. Also provides individual services to members with their AlaskaCare Retiree Health Plan initial enrollment at retirement.

Serving active employees and retired members of the State and other participating employers who are covered under the AlaskaCare Health Plans and the Optional Benefits Plan by providing assistance with eligibility, enrollment and premium information for the following plans:

• Health Benefits
• Health Flexible Spending Account
• Life Insurance including Basic Life, Optional Life, Supplemental Life, Supplemental AD&D, Supplemental Survivor and Travel Accident
• Disability Insurance, both short term and long term, including claims assistance
• Dependent Care Assistance Plan enrollment (see DCAP section for assistance with claims)

HealthSmart (formerly Wells Fargo TPA) is the third-party claims administrator for AlaskaCare. They assist the state in managing all aspects of the AlaskaCare Health Plan and process all health care claims for the state's AlaskaCare plan participants.
