The following legislation, that may affect your benefits, was introduced in the First Session of the 27th Legislature, January 18 to April 17, 2011.
House Bills
- HB 29 An Act establishing as a standard for the procurement of group life and health insurance for retirement systems for certain public employees a requirement that preventive health services medical benefits provided to the systems' retiree members may not be less than preventive health services medical benefits provided to the systems' active members.
- HB 84 An Act establishing a one-time occupational death benefit for peace officers and firefighters.
- HB 108 An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government. This bill will provide funds for FY12 employer relief for PERS and TRS retirement systems as well as provide the JRS and NGNMRS FY12 funding. See Section 23 [PDF]
- HB 135 An Act relating to voluntary deduction of dues for membership in certain retiree organizations; and providing for an effective date.
