A workshop for Defined Benefit members who are interested in retirement eligibility, the retirement process, pension options, forms, timing of benefits, and enrollment in the State of Alaska Retiree Health Insurance Plan.
This workshop includes material on retirement and disability benefits available to participants of the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) Tier IV or Teachers’ Retirement System (TRS) Tier III. Participants are individuals who first entered the PERS or TRS on or after July 1, 2006.
This workshop will provide Defined Benefit members with information on the AlaskaCare Retiree Health Plan, to include coordination of payment with Medicare.
This workshop will provide Defined Benefit members with information on the Dental-Vision-Audio (DVA) and Long-Term Care (LTC) Plans. These are optional insurance plans offered to members at the time of retirement.
