Fiscal Year 2014 Employer Contribution Rates Available

Calculator The Alaska Retirement Management Board (ARMB) has established Fiscal Year 2014 (FY14) employer contribution rates for the PERS/TRS Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution Retirement (DCR) Plans.

Please refer to the FY14 Employer Contribution Rates online for complete information. The link to the PERS and TRS FY14 Employer Rates can be found under Resources on the Employer Services page.

The Division will be sending rate letters to each employer electronically, as we did with FY13 rates, in April 2013 when the HRA rates are available. The rates will be effective for pay period end dates between July 1, 2013, and June 30, 2014.

Employer Training Very Successful

The Division of Retirement and Benefits Employer Training held earlier this month in Anchorage was a great success. Nearly 60 participants attended the event.

Some highlights of the training included:

Payroll staff, counselors, auditing staff, and an IRS Specialist were able to meet many of the employers for the first time.
The “Question and Answer” session presented an opportunity for problem solving among employers and staff members.
Employers offered valuable feedback to improve upcoming trainings and enhance eReporting
All attendees were able to network and share information.
