Record Update Procedure
If you need to have the information in your directory record changed or corrected then please follow the below instructions based on what information needs to be corrected.
Employees can log in to Employee Self Service (ESS) (https://iris-ess.alaska.gov/webapp/PRDESS1X1/ESS) to update their Work Phone listed under Address > Contact Information.
- Login to ESS
- Go to My Info
- Go to Address
- Click Modify
- Expand Contact Information section
- Enter Work Phone
- Click Submit
Once this document has been submitted the updated Work Phone should get posted to the employee directory the following day. If you are having trouble accessing ESS please contact the IRIS Help Desk at IRIS.Project@alaska.gov or 465-5555. Please contact your Department IT staff for email address questions. A list of Departmental Enterprise Directory Password Administrators (DEDPA) is available at (http://doa.alaska.gov/ets/dedpa.html).
For an official name change request please submit the appropriate paperwork using the MYEICF document in ESS/IRIS or by sending the forms to your Payroll Contact. Below are contact phone numbers if you have questions about this process.

- Resources (DEC, DFG, DNR) – 465-8287
