Under the Open Meetings Act (AS 44.62.310), notice is given that the Alaska Oil and Gas conservation Commission (AOGCC) will meet in public meetings on January 4, 2017(Cancelled), February 1, 2017, March 1, 2017, April 5, 2017, May 3, 2017, June 7, 2017, July 5, 2017, August 2, 2017, September 6, 2017, October 4, 2017, November 1, 2017 and December 6, 2017 at 9:00 am in the AOGCC's Hearing Room in Anchorage, Alaska at the address below.

A Public Workshop will be held November 1, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC), 333 West 7th Avenue, Anchorage Alaska 99501. The purpose of the workshop is to permit interested parties to provide input to AOGCC staff regarding the regulatory amendments introduced at the AOGCC’s Public Hearing held September 27, 2016.

On its own motion the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC) will hold a hearing to determine if Aurora Gas, LLC. has complied with all the provisions of the laws of the State of Alaska and the regulations, rules and orders of the AOGCC in the drilling, operations, maintenance, repair and abandonment of each well and the clearance of the location, or has not filed with the AOGCC all notices and records required by the AOGCC and specifically 20 AAC 25.025.

The subject of the hearing is AOGCC’s proposed enforcement action against NordAq Energy Inc. (NordAq) for failure to permanently abandon the Shadura-1 exploratory well before expiration of rights in CIRI Oil and Gas Lease C-061648, 20 AAC 25.105(a). Shadura-1 was drilled within Section 23, Township 8 North, Range 10 West, Seward Meridian.

The subject of the hearing is AOGCC’s proposed enforcement action against NordAq Energy Inc. (NordAq) for failure to permanently abandon the Tiger Eye Central-1 exploratory well before expiration of rights in State of Alaska Oil and Gas Lease ADL 391104, 20 AAC 25.105(a). The surface location for the well lies on private land; and the bottom hole location for the well lies within ADL 391104, Section 24, Township 8 North, Range 15 West, Seward Meridian.
