This single-well, undefined oil pool is currently under production through the Northstar NS-08 well. The productive interval is assigned to the C-Sand of the Kuparuk Formation, and it is perforated from 9,628' to 9,668' measured depth ( equivalent to -8,927' to -8964' true vertical feet subsea).1
The pool began regular production in November 2010, and peaked in October 2014 at 2,002 barrels of oil per day (BOPD). For the first six months of 2016, the pool has averaged 1,168 BOPD with a water cut of 1%.2
