What we do
The Office of Procurement and Property Management (OPPM) is the State of Alaska’s centralized purchasing and property management organization.
OPPM operates under statutory authority vested to the Commissioner of Administration and the Chief Procurement Officer.
OPPM oversees Alaska's procurement activities through administration of the State Procurement Code.
The Statewide Contracting Office (SCO) assists all State of Alaska governmental entities, municipalities, and public corporations to
fulfil their mission and reduce acquisition and lifecycle costs by providing superior cost effective contracts and agreements. The SCO
administers Alaska’s procurement officer certification and training program through its procurement academy.
The Property Management Office (PMO) is the central property management organization for the State of Alaska. The PMO receives and
tracks property throughout its lifecycle, including final disposition through the Federal Surplus Program, the State Surplus Program,
or the Property Reutilization Program.
We encourage Alaskans and our guests to learn more about OPPM by browsing through this site.
