Child Sexual Assault

Short Description

The Board recognizes the difficulty minors may encounter when they have been victimized by sexual predators.  Therefore, the Board relaxes limitations on counseling awards in these cases.

Policy

Adopted 4-14-06

The Board will routinely make exception to its mental health treatment award limitations in cases involving child sexual abuse. There will be no definitive limitation and the Board will consider making additional awards based on current diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment plan(s) in excess of $3,380.00 per victim.
