Compensation of Non-Residents

Short Description

Visitors to Alaska who become victims of a violent crime can receive assistance. For more information see 2 AAC 80.050(b)(1).

Policy

Adopted 12-14-98

When all other eligibility criteria are met, the State of Alaska, Violent Crimes Compensation Board covers every U.S. citizen who is a victim of violent crime inside the borders of Alaska regardless of where the individual is from.
