Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action

Reports pertaining to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action in the executive branch per Alaska Statutes 39.28.020(a)(4) and 39.28.020(a)(12). The Executive Branch Affirmative Action Plan contains the state's EEO/AA policies, guidelines, and job placement goals. Reports contain demographic information on the fifteen departments comprising the executive branch of state government

Personnel Rules

 Regulations adopted to implement the Personnel Act. The personnel rules specify the procedures for the operation of the State Personnel system.
State of Alaska Employee Movement Reports These Employee Movement reports are key management tools for workforce planning and provide a view of agency turnover and hire rates by fiscal year. The Outgoing data looks at the rate of employees leaving positions and the Incoming data looks at the rate of employees moving into positions. The organizational groupings break the different categories of movement by divisions while the occupations groupings break the movement into different job occupational groups, job families and job classes. Please open the Definitions in each movement type for more detailed explanations.
 

Workforce Profile / Annual Report

 Published annually; research relating to the State's Executive Branch workforce demographics. Reports current and historical statistics, notes trends, and provides a snapshot perspective of the State's human resources.

This newsletter is no longer published. Focus was on payroll and personnel action information, including tips and techniques for department timekeepers and updates on the latest procedures.

HR Solutions: Currently on hiatus. Designed to provide managers and supervisors with practical ideas and information that will make the HR component of their duties a little more manageable and to provide updates in key areas of employment law.
